VOYEUR

Welcome to Voyeur, Viktor Luna's latest design concept inspired by the works of eminent fashion photographer, Helmut Newton.

Voyeur will immerse you in a world where sensuality meets elegance and the conventions of masculine and feminine design blend to challenge accepted views of beauty and charm. Voyeur provocatively balances sensuality and sophistication utilizing sleek

ensembles with daring cuts, sheer fabrics, and bold brocades to embrace the power of diversity and self-expression. Tailored suits and structured

silhouettes, interlaced with feminine details, create a canvas for celebrating beauty beyond boundaries.

About the Designer:

Voyeur pays homage to the photographer's sense of style while also questioning and sometimes reinterpreting his work through a new

perspective. In the way that '90s fashion influenced Newton, his photography has influenced Luna's fashion designs. This collection

examines the intersection between two distinct yet inextricably linked art forms.

BIO

Sophistication punctuated with dark sensuality and a punk rock pulse, Viktor Luna’s design philosophy is for individuals who are empowered, elegant, and progressive in their sense of style.

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, Viktor was raised in Los Angeles by his mother, a talented seamstress who studied and mastered patten making.  She introduced Viktor to fashion design at the age of seven and instilled in him the foundations of classic tailoring and construction.  Following his move to New York City in 2001, Viktor polished his skills at the Fashion Institute of Technology.  After graduating with a B.A. in Fashion Design, Viktor was recruited by Zero Maria Cornejo and subsequently held positions at Valentino and Burberry before to launching his first collection.

Trained as a photographer with a keen eye for nature’s overlooked oddities, Luna steps behind the lens to capture natural images to create his vivid prints. He also draws upon his eclectic background spanning tranquil summers spent on the Mexican Riviera, the rock and roll days of his youth in Los Angeles, and the kinetic urban energy of New York City.

Viktor returned to Los Angeles in 2016 where he continues to create innovative collections and oversee his eponymous brand.

Luna showed his Spring 2012 collection at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week and has shown collections at El Paseo Fashion Week in 2013 and 2019. Past collections have been featured in ELLE Mexico Magazine, ELLE.COM, French VOGUE Magazine, New York Times, Marie Claire Magazine, RollingStone, Harpes Bazaar Mexico and Nylon Mexico, OUT Magazine and Diva Magazine. His designs have been worn by Laverne Cox, Ciara, Lil Kim, Carly Rae Jepsen, Iggy Azalea, Jackie Cruz, Ruby Rose, Big Boi, Victoria Justice, Adam Rippon, MJ Rodriguez and others.
